This is the television season for powerful groups of women. Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, and Lindsay Price star in this new series about three of the most powerful women in New York City. Wendy (Shields) is a movie executive, Victory (Price) is a fashion designer, and Nico (Raver) is a magazine editor. Together they are a trio of the best women NYC has to offer.

From Candace Bushnell, the woman who brought us Sex and the City, Lipstick Jungle focuses on the lives and loves of these three women as they maneuver through the tough New York executive jungle of power and deal with their private lives at the same time.

Whether facing the sex barrier, the critics, or their partners, these women have a lot to deal with. And the men in their lives must also deal with these powerful women. In the pilot episode Wendy's husband must come to terms with the idea that he is and will always be thought of by the public as her husband first.

As with Sex and the City, viewers are treated to NYC fashions and way of life in the executive business community. While the characters are not as humorous as Carrie and company, they are living on a different scale filled with drama and cutthroat scenarios. This new sexy drama premieres February 7 on NBC at 10 PM ET.
