George A. Romero's ...Of the Dead Promo Trailer Is Here!

Attention zombie fans: Voltage Pictures has released the trailer for the next installment in the zombie horror franchise George A. Romero's...Of the Dead! Watch it below!

Written and directed by Romero, the film stars Alan Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Devon Bostick, Richard Fitzpatrick, Stefano Colacitti, Athena Karkanis and was filmed entirely in Canada.

On a small island off North America's coast, the dead rise to menace the living. Yet...the islanders can't bring themselves to exterminate their loved ones, despite the growing danger from those the once held dear. A rebel among them hunts down all the zombies he can find, only to be banished from the island for assassinating his neighbors and friends. On the mainland, bent on revenge, he encounters a small band of survivors in search of an oasis on which to build a new life. Barely surviving an attack from a mass of ravenous flesh-eaters. They commandeer a zombie-infested ferry and sail to the island. There, to their horror, they discover that the locals have chained the dead inside their homes, pretending to live 'normal' lives...with bloody consequences. What ensues is a desperate struggle for survival and the answer to a question never posed in Romero's Dead films: Can the living ever live in peace with the dead?

George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead was released May 28th, 2010 and stars Alan Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Devon Bostick, Richard Fitzpatrick, Athena Karkanis, Stefano DiMatteo, Joris Jarsky. The film is directed by George A. Romero.

If you liked World War Z, Fallen.

Read 'Blood Crazy' by Simon Clark, it's like the most amazing and awesome horror novel alongside World War Z.
It's about one day everything is normal and then the next day all the adults in the town have gone berserk and are killing anyone under the age of 18 and a group of kids have to find out why it's happened

What the hell is this crap?!?! Who else is tired of filmakers ruining their once good names with slug like this, (Cough, cough, Lucas). Is Romero filming these turds at his ranch now with his neighbors? For the love of God, just stop already.

I feel bad saying this, but it looks like Romero needed a bigger budget here. I'll probably see it, but it looks kinda bad. Like Straight to DVD material.

I'm much more interested the J. Michael Strazynski scripted and Marc Forster directed epic Zombie film "World War Z." Bring THAT on, not another regurgitated Romero flick

This does sounds interesting but the part that bothers me is the zombie-infested ferry, can i get a 'WTF?'
But Romero has lost it lately, Diary wasn't that brilliant, Land was bullocks for a zombie film, but it was kinda cool with the emotion zombies despite that it was kind of retarded, but still a nice touch.

Romero figure this out 'NO ONE WANTS SLOW-ASS ZOMBIES ANYMORE'

Man, i learnt a lot from Romero though when it comes to writing a Zombie Flick though.
But if World War Z comes out addios to the majority of Zombie legacy films

It's easy for Zynthos to explain himself. This one looks retarded. Romero's only good zombie movies were the original "Dawn of the Dead" and the original "Night of the Living Dead." He's lost it lately. It's that simple.
