Walt Disney Pictures and studio-based Mandeville Films are working again with The Shaggy Dog screenwriter Geoff Rodkey, picking up his Untitled Family Movie pitch for over $1 million, according to Variety.

The film is described as a Disney family comedy about a disenfranchised father and his disillusioned son.

Mandeville partners David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing along with Tollin/Robbins partners Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins.

Geoff Rodkey also wrote the screenplay for RV, which stars Robin Williams and Cheryl Hines, that will be released April 28 from Columbia Pictures.
