Gavin O'Connor eyes Neverland
The project is an origin story about J.M. Barrie's characters Peter Pan and Captain Hook. The originals followed a boy who never grew up. The three children of the Darling family receive a visit from Peter Pan, who takes them to Never Land, where an ongoing war between Peter's gang of rag-tag runaways and the evil Pirate Captain Hook is taking place.
Channing Tatum, Joe Roth, Reid Carolin and Palak Patel are producing for Roth Films and Iron Horse. The director previously lead Tumbleweeds, Miracle, Pride and Glory and most recently Warrior.
This project is still in early development.
