Gatchaman Returns with a Brand New Teaser Trailer

Back in April, we reported on the first teaser trailer for an upcoming animated film and it seems that a brand new teaser has been released. Twitch has discovered a brand new teaser trailer for the new film Gatchaman, which will hit theaters sometime next year, although a concrete release date hasn't been set yet. Though the studio releasing the film has had a pessimistic outlook on it's own future, due to financial problems, it still seems that the film is on track to be released. Click on the video player below to watch the brand new trailer for yourself.

Gatchaman was released in 2011 and stars Emmanuelle Chriqui, Eric Christian Olsen, David Denman, Colin Ford, David Oyelowo.

By any chance is this film being produced by the guy who insisted that Kevin Smith put a giant mecha spider in his unmade Superman movie?

Also, CGI looks like video game graphics.

Oh yeah... this has Japan's stink aaaaaaaaaWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLL over it.

But I'm glad our future avian protectors can have a good chuckle while exploding a giant robot. And that IN this distopian future, ice cream seems to fall from the sky to afford the people some well need comic relief.

I don't know... I'm never really that fond of CG characters just because I don't think they capture the same expressions/ambiance as animation can. They aren't as cute to me and sometimes feel too fake. Just a personal opinion though.

@lantimes It's originally called Gatchaman and came out in the 70s in Japan. An English version was heavily edited to match western regulations for children shows called Battle of the Planets aka G-Force. Gatchaman refers to the unedited original.

not interested. The aimation doesn't look anywhere near as good Dreamworks or pixar (i don't know it either of these companies are involved, i'll be shocked if they are). So no matter how much action or comedy there is, it will be ruined by the shabby looking movie.

@twinpac1 Hell yeah i loved Silver Hawks. This could have used harder sounds for the wind, projectiles and explosions, but I grew up with Gatchaman as well so this is sweet!
