Gary Oldman Joins David Goyer's Latest Thriller

Gary Oldman, Odette Yustman and Cam Gigandet have all come aboard David Goyer's untitled supernatural thriller. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is being produced through Platinum Dunes and Rouge Pictures.

Goyer wrote the script himself. It revolves around a nineteen-year-old girl that is haunted by a dybbuk. What the heck is a dybbuk? It is a soul that has been barred from heaven. This particular soul comes in the form of a little boy that was killed in Auschwitz.

Yustman is playing the girl, while Gigandet will play her sympathetic boyfriend. Oldman has signed on to play the spiritual specialist who arrives to help the girl.

The film will begin production on March 3rd in Chicago.

Totally.... they worked great together on the Batman Begins film & Dark Knight presumably... the movie sounds like a good twist on the exorcist. Oldman always surprises me with the diverse roles he takes on and so successfully nails. Easily one of my favorite actors. Look forward to it.
