Gary Coleman passes away at 42
The actor, best known for his diminutive size and popular catch phrase, "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?", was pulled off life support by his wife at 12:05 PM. Coleman was suffering from intracranial hemorrhaging due to falling and hurting his head in Utah, where he was rushed to a hospital early Thursday. A press conference will be held from the hospital today at 3:00 PST.
Coleman's rep passed along this statement:
"Thanks to everyone for their well wishing and support during this tragic time. Now that Gary has passed, we know he will be missed because of all the love and support shown in the past couple of days. Gary is now at peace and his memory will be kept in the hearts of those who were entertained by him throughout the years."

This was as shocking to me as Micheal Jackson's passing.
As much as I couldn't stand Arnold Jackson, I really feel sad that he never returned to greatness. Success as that character stereo typed him from branching out, and everyone who got rich off of "Whachoo-talkin'-'bout-Willis", dropped him when the money stopped flowing. They all owed him BIG time.

R.I.P. Gary Coleman. While he hadn't done much memorable stuff in years, nor had the best of luck, he's a talent that will be missed.
"2010 hasn't been kind to former kid stars and teen icons." This seems to imply more than Gary & Corey have died. Has any other child star died this year?
