G.I. Joe Retaliation 3D International Poster

G.I. Joe Retaliation was barging full-steam towards its summer 2012 release date when Paramount Pictures pulled the plug, deciding that this anticipated sequel would fare better in 3D. At the time, plenty of posters and photos had already been released, and the toys had even found their way into a few stores. Now, with a March release date looming, Paramount has to kick start it's promotional run all over-again. And it doesn't look much different than the first time around, with the film being rebranded as G.I. Joe Retaliation 3D, and Channing Tatum taking a more prominent role at the forefront of the action. We'll forgive you if you get a sense of déjà vu looking at this latest international one-sheet, or if you were under the impression that this sequel came and went without much fanfare.

G.I. Joe Retaliation was released March 28th, 2013 and stars Dwayne Johnson, Jonathan Pryce, Byung-hun Lee, Elodie Yung, Ray Stevenson, D.J. Cotrona, Adrianne Palicki, Channing Tatum. The film is directed by Jon M. Chu.

    I'd like to see the ticket sales between the 2D and 3D showings, and find out which one ended up being more profitable. I will have a hearty laugh if the 2D still comes out on top, and they delayed the movie for nothing.

    I know rock is big star, and more popular than than channing but duke should be the main guy not roadblock. Duke duke shouldnt have been killed off in the first place, this idiot director who clames that he knows gi joe, and grew up w it, yet he has duke killed off , thats like killing off splinter in a tmnt film, just doesnt work. So he messed it up and removed the film (telling us) that he was gonna convert it to 3d, LAME AND LIES...
    Anyhow This kinda film only looks good in 2d and im sure it wont make big bucks in 3d, They should have gave us the 2d version in june 2012 and then 3d in 2013 in time for the movie awards, end of story. but oh well. lets c how it turned out.
