FX Wants More Sons of Anarchy

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, FX's hit Sons of Anarchy is going to make a return in September.

The cabler has ordered a 13-episode third season of the show, which is the highest-rated basic cable drama this year. In addition to that, Kurt Sutter, the creator, has inked a two-year deal to remain as the showrunner. All of the series' regulars are coming back as well.

The recent finale of the show drew 4.3 million viewers Tuesday night and earned a 2.3 rating in the adult demographic.

"The success of' Sons of Anarchy' is very gratifying and the show has become a bona-fide hit," stated FX president-general manager John Landgraf. "The critics have recognized Sons as one the best series on television, and the show has earned its place alongside FX's great drama series."

This is excellent news. Sons of Anarchy is, in my opinion, the best show on television right now. I record each episode on my DVR. September 2010 is already marked on my calendar.

This is my favorite show right now. Loved the drama, Not to spoil anything, but as far as the finale goes, I loved it. I thought they would tie up all loose ends and was worried they wouldn't have a new story for the third season, but after watching the finale, HOLY SH*T do they have alot to work with now!

Man, tv has changed a lot. I remember back when i was kid when i was just lucky enough to catch at least three decent shows on tv, but now, I'm having a hard time keeping up with all these shows. It's so many good ones out.
