Full Street Fighter Cast Confirmed

Capcom Co. Ltd., the company that brought the video game Street Fighter to the gaming world, has announced the cast for the upcoming Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li film. Chun-Li will be portrayed by Kristen Kruek (Smallville), and the rest of the cast will be rounded out by Michael Clark Duncan as Balrog, Neal McDonough portraying M. Bison, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas will be Vega, Chris Klein plays Charlie Nash, and Rick Yune will play Gen.

Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen and Cheng Pei Pei have also signed on to star in this video game adaptation.

The film, directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, from a Justin Marks script, hasn't announced a start date yet, but they are aiming for a 2009 release.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li was released February 27th, 2009 and stars Kristin Kreuk, Chris Klein, Neal McDonough, Robin Shou, Moon Bloodgood, Josie Ho, Taboo, Michael Clarke Duncan. The film is directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak.

    The only thing i find interesting bout this movie is that justin marks is writing. He's making a name for himself, with writing this, SuperMax(a green arrow-centered story), masters of the universe, AND voltron.

    I actually wouldn't mind they make this movie...I've played Street Fighter when I was a kid and actually enjoyed it. The problem I have with this is that they should start the franchise from scratch (like they did from Batman). They should forget about the 2 first movies and start brand new. And start in the right direction....this could be a kickass movie if they play the right cards...but beside that, scrap it if they f*ck it up!

    i agree kreuk shoud stick to the clearisil commercials. (if you have seen them, then you kno she does the whole thing in a towel while demonstrating how to put lotion on your face). these choices for actors a re f*cking terrible. the black eyed peas?!?!?!?!?! who the f*ck cast these people?!?!?! the actor who originally played Vega was awesome in my opinion. he was the only honorable mention i have...altho i forgot his name...so he isnt really being mention so much as he is being reffered to...point being this is trash. remakes or "reimaging" is in some cases a good idea. but this falls extremely short of said idea...im highly ashamed of the industry and anyone who took part in putting this sh*t storm of a movie together. this is worse then Willem Dafoe playing a mexican in Once Upon A Time In Mexico, and far worse then Paris Hiltons One Night in Paris snuff film being all in night vision. i f*cking hate the color green when watching someone give a BJ...
