Apple has just released the brand new trailer for Neil Marshall's upcoming action epic film Centurion, which will be released in theaters nationwide on August 27. Centurion was released August 27th, 2010 and stars Michael Fassbender, Andreas Wisniewski, Dave Legeno, Axelle Carolyn, Dominic West, Dhaffer L'Abidine, JJ Feild, Lee Ross. The film is directed by Neil Marshall.

This I will see for sure, at least it's not filled with magic. I heard him having an interview on the radio the other day, he stated that this film is more about being in the dark and gritty, a bit more grounded without the magic aspect.

Gag, I hate the 'stylized' blue light that all medieval movies tend to be shot in. Shoot in normal color or use browns and greens. Blue looks fake.

don't think it looks bad, but definitely cliche. nothing new or exciting, just an "epic" roman war film in the same vein as gladiator, clash of titans, robin hood, etc.

it looks epic, but no-one really knows what happened to the ninth legion, they vanished. so neil may get a lot of criticism on this one, personally, i think it'll be good, he's not made a bad film yet
