Friday the 13th Part 2 Not Happening?
The site contacted Fuller to clarify the tweet and he responded by saying, "Right now there is no movement on Friday the 13th Part 2." It was believed that New Line Cinema was readying the film for an August 13, 2010 release date, with a script from Friday the 13th writers Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. It was also believed that the film was going to be shot in 3D.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any further developments on the status of Friday the 13th Part 2 in 3D as soon as we have more information.
Friday the 13th Part 2 in 3D is in development .

123Kid I'm with a FVJVMM all the way and I'm not saying you're wrong, I just preferred the Halloween remake over F13th, and I'm more of a Halloween fan so that might be it

well Count BlizZzard I know that they mess up on some of the remake of friday the 13th, but still I rather watch this than watching the halloween remakes, but if it was my idea i would just make a Freddy vs Jason Vs Michael Myers with Robert as Freddy and Kane Hodder as Jason

Vanboy
Damn. The only thing that I hated with the remake, was when that chick who had been helping the dude through the whole movie find his sister, gets killed at the end. Why the Hell do they do that? It's so cliche'. She could have just left him to find his own damn sister and been alive. The same thing with the hottie in AVPR. She was there having this romance with the virgin dude, and they start having a meant to be relationship, and she runs ahead of the group (ala Newt in the ventilation shaft in Aliens), and gets pinned to the wall by a Predator throwing star! WTF?

123kid part one of the Halloween remake was good, part 2 was sh*t, and you haven't even seen Nightmare on Elm Street remake, it might be good, but I agree with you on it, but this movie was one of the worst remakes of the original horrors movies, they changed his whole mannerism, he doesn't run, doesn't movie fast, doesn't breath, doesn't keep prisoner and doesn't use a tunnel to get around, it had good moments but not enough, plus pushing together part 1 and 2 I wasn't a big fan of, and I'm a big fan of this franchise

This is like the best remake they done from horror movies, i wish they would make a sequel, well i rather see sequels to friday the 13th than watching the remakes of nightmare on elm streets or halloween no body can't replace Robert as freddy and i don't want to talk about the new halloween movies, don't get me wrong rob zombie done a ok job but nobody can't replace john carpenter so New Line Cinema let's make one more sequel.

thats ok. the "1st" one wasnt very good anyway so i'm not disappointed that there will be no sequel. especially in 3D.

... I 100% agree W./GreatOz!
In these "economic hard times" ...why doesn't Hollywood just save time & money ....and make better films ...Hollywood should put the money for a sequel to a reboot/remake (Confused ..tell me about it!) ...and hire some decent writers and directdors .....look towards books and plays...Hollywood should use "Imagination" and spend money in better places!!!
1/2 the time if U LQQk in yur local paper some thearters play the "Orginial" films on the big scren ....never make something that was good to begin with ....Hollywood should take a crappy film and make it better!1
Stop the reboot/remake BS!!
