Megan Parsons teen comedy script Freshly Popped has been snatched up by Overture films. According to Variety, Steve Tisch, Jason Blumenthal and Todd Black will produce the film through their Escape Artists banner.

The film follows the adventures of a girl that works at a movie theater. When she is not tearing tickets, she is scouring the crowd trying to decide whom she wants to lose her virginity too.

The film will be ready for a 2009 release date.
