Hack/Slash to be directed by Fredrik Bond
The film is based off the comic book created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Casselli, which revolves around Cassie Hack, who symbolizes the one woman that survives at the end of most horror films, but has become much more than that. Not only has Hack survived, but she has transformed into a killer herself, travelling the back roads and killing youngsters in small towns all across the country.
The script was written by Justin Marks and the film, now with a director firmly in place after many had come and gone, is eyeing a winter start date for production.
Hack/Slash comes to theaters in 2013. The film is directed by Marcus Nispel.

You're right J.A. I googled it, and by the sounds, this plot synopsis is way off. Cassie Hack hunts down "Slashers," reversing the cliche plot point of slashers killing teenage girls in horror films, not youngsters. So it's like Buffy, I guess, only more R-rated and no vampires lol

I heard the same synopsis that Brew1701 i saying that she like punishes and kills people like serial killers, paedophiles, rapists etc etc.
But the again, i haven't read the series but i came across it once on a manga site where you can download manga or read it online.
I haven't got high expectations for this anyway despite even if it stars Megan Fox, because the is written by Justin Marks (the knob that wrote the Chung Li Street Fighter).
His also attemptting to write Supermax (i got a draft, so, i'll let you know how that is...His also trying to do Voltron, Shadow of the collossous and He-man, and his penned to write the upcoming adaptation on 20,000 leagues under the sea)

ya she doesnt go around killing youngsters, she goes around killing serial killers, the hollywood reporter needs to confirm the synopsis of the movie before they report it!! and megan fox is perfect for cassie hack!!!

Ottley ur right, i don't actually read this series so i may be off, but my brother said it actually has the different horror movie monsters/killers in it and she fights them. like Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Michael Meyers and all the classics. so it sounds like they r changing it a bit, but i may be wrong.
