The Upright Citizens Brigade are set to debut there new feature film Freak Dance at this year's Austin Film Festival, which takes place October 21-23. A dance musical parody in the vein of every dance movie ever made, Freak Dance follows the sexy and wealthy Cocolonia, who must escape her roots and learn to street dance with the help of her new friend Funky Bunch, who dreams of being the best dancer ever. They must save the Fantaseez community center from the Building Department and the evil gang banger dancers before it's too late. Will the duo be able to save their home? Only love can save them now. Freak Dance was released May 15th, 2011 and stars Joshua Allen, Edwin J. Bennett, Matt Besser, Kathryn Burns, Peter Cameron, Michael Daniel Cassady, Ingel Catindig, Judea Cavoto. The film is directed by Matt Besser, Neil Mahoney.
