The studio confirmed the film will open on September 3
The film is a feature-length incarnation of the fake trailer shown between films during Grindhouse. Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis wrote the script, both of whom are directing the film. The story revolves around Danny Trejo's title character who is double-crossed and seeking revenge.
Machete was released September 3rd, 2010 and stars Danny Trejo, Robert De Niro, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Michelle Rodriguez, Jeff Fahey, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson. The film is directed by Ethan Maniquis, Robert Rodriguez.

The only think I don't like about this, is that in the original trailer, they (of course) make the white guy out to be the bad guy, but, if you know Mexico, they have so many kidnappings done by the people who live there, on their own people as well as tourists. I'm not saying that America doesn't have kidnappings, but it's not renown for it like Mexico is. Oh, and we don't bring illegal drugs over there and we don't cross over the border illegally and hide out there against their governments wishes, making thousands (uh, millions?) of Pesos a year and send it over here to our families and not pay taxes on any of it. Maybe we should sneak over there, so we could live for free, have their tax payers pay for our health care and for our kids to go to college. Oh, wait, they know about all of that stuff. We'd probably get caught. Oooooooooooo, he said what?
I did like the Grindhouse movies (I own them) and will probably see this, just for (seeing the hilarious trailer) the absurdity that he's actually a hero. "How dare you make me pay for my misdeeds! Now they will all pay!"

When I saw this preview I said that is going to be a good movie, and probably better then both Grindhouse movies, I never thought it was a fake
and Emmytt, what you didn't like his character in Desperado, and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, he was good, the movie going to so good
