The film is based off the novel These Foolish Things by Deborah Moggach and centers on a group of well-off British senior citizens who decide to live out the rest of their retirement years in India and was described by the site as a, "dramatic comedy about people in their twilight years."

The site is reporting that several British actors are in talks for the film including Julie Christie, Judi Dench, Tom Wilkinson and Peter O'Toole, with Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel also in talks to join the film. While it wasn't said if a writer was in place to adapt the novel, the site is also reporting that John Madden is in talks to direct the film.
