Fox Searchlight has bought the rights to the indie thriller, Stephon's Coroner for State Street.

George Tillman is set to direct and produce. The film follows the story of two single mothers who form a friendship after their children die during useless acts of violence, reports Variety. When the judicial system fails them, the duo set out on a killing spree through the underbelly of Chicago.

No production schedule has been set for Setphon's Coroner.
