Fox Orders More Lie to Me Scripts

While it isn't a back-nine, full-season order, it's better than nothing for a Fox sophomore drama. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has ordered three more scripts for the Tim Roth drama Lie to Me.

The show, which debuted last January, received a 13-episode order going into the fall, but the ratings aren't holding up as well as last season, when it debuted after the mega-hit American Idol. The show now follows the network's Monday night stalwart House M.D., and has lost a sizeable amount of the lead-in audience.

It remains to be seen whether or not the Tim Roth series will receive a full back-nine order, but a script order as opposed to a full-season pickup isn't necessarily uncommon. CW handed out script orders for The Vampire Diaries and Melrose Place.

No, I'm someone when it comes to entertainment, whether movies or tv, I'll follow any reasoning they give, but this show is so absurd with trying to bring realness that it becomes a comedy. I don't know how this even got a second season.
