It seems that Fox wants more animation to dominate the primetime spectrum. According to , Fox has ordered a presentation and a script from Robot Chicken creator Seth Green.

Green will team up with his Robot Chicken team of Matt Senreich, co-creator and executive producer of the show, and Tom Root, a writer-producer on the Adult Swim series. The series is said to utilize family life and high school themes as backdrops for the show, and Green added the series, "will have an aesthetic familiar to viewers of Fox's popular animated comedies."

It was said that the series will employ traditional animation, as opposed to Green's Robot Chicken, which uses stop-motion animation.
