Fourth Bourne Film Moves Forward

It seems that Universal will be rejuvinating one of its most successful franchises. According to Variety, Universal will be making a fourth Jason Bourne film and they have set George Nolfi to write the script.

Nofi was one of the co-writers on the last Bourne film, The Bourne Ultimatum, alongside Tony Gilroy, who wrote all three films. The first three films were based off Robert Ludlum's three books, but this film will be an entirely new Bourne film using Ludlum's character.

Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass have already attached themselves to another Bourne film. No production schedule was released.

    The Bourne movies are awesome, but the original three books are the only good ones. The ones not written by Ludlum are not near as good, I don't care for what they did with the character.

    I must admit, I think I have developed a man-crush on Jason Bourne... by that I mean I love this series, and I giggle like a little girl in anticpation of any further sequels to this phenominal series.

    As far as I know, there are 6 books...
    The Bourne Identity
    The Bourne Supremacy
    The Bourne Ultimatum
    The Bourne Legacy
    The Bourne Betrayal
    The Bourne Sanction

    Wikipedia actually has a good plot line up of the other 3 books if anybody cares.

    Yea, the Bourne films will keep coming at least until the books stop. The next one will be called "The Bourne Legacy." My Dad read it because I gave it to him for Father's Day. lolz.

    I don't know. The first three were some of the coolest movies ever made, but they ended on such on awesome high note in such a perfect way. A fourth may be cool, but I think that all the loose ends have been wrapped up. Then again, I would like to see another awesome Bourne fight.
