@themoviefanatic oh of htat i have no doubt! Nolan is a brilliant director with a proven track record and Batman is a very intruiging character. Greent Lantern is my fav DC hero but we all know hoe that turned out (could have been better) but i have high hoped for TDKR.

Not bad. These are definitely going a long way to make up for some of the earlier promotional's for the film, but it's still nowhere on par with TDK. TDK had so much symbolism and finesse in it's marketing that I simply don't see here... yet, that is. Still, the first and last banners are pretty badass.

Love that last banner. I know this will probably do better than Avengers since it is more grounded in reality thus less alienating for non comic book fan audiences but as a die hard Marvel fan i hope Avengers tops it.

@Joshua-A-Tecumseh That is what some people hope will happen. But, i wouldn't raise my hopes on that too soon, because we wont know if that will happen or not until it is released to movie theaters. If anything, i think it will be somewhat tied with what the Avengers made in the box office world wide.

@thedude1 The first cut, yes. Seeing the final cut in the week, in which the cast and Nolan will be present.

Im totally f**king excited for this, with the hype thats its getting it should open just as great as the Avengers. I was almost doubting that it could be as big that $207 million mega gross, but learning from that and The Hunger Games surprise mega success, anything is possible, but also most of all The Dark Knight Rises has the advantage of being released during the summer where most people will be out.
