@Herscious i sincerely doubt that they will ever make a crossover Marvel and DC film, but even if they do I don't think that Deadpool would be fighting GL. It is kind of weird to think that he will be playing a character from both universes, but it will work. I still think he is perfect for both roles and i don't think anyone could nail them as well as he will.

@Herscious.. If you know anything about Deadpool, you'd know Reynolds was damn near perfectly cast. And the suit change in TDK was explained because he needed to be faster and more agile. It made perfect sense.

I think they didn't like it because it looks a lot more organic than what they are used to. It's not a bad thing, but i'm sure they are feeling like it's being Hollywood-ized, which fanboys are not always fond of. I don't think that it takes away from them being hardcore fans however. Why would Ryan Reynolds step down as Deadpool? There is no way anyone would be able to pull off the character as well as he can....Jason Statham is who you think would be a good one? Why? He isn't funny, and he's English.......I'm hoping that they don't go along with the story in Wolverine for the Deadpool movie, and i'm sure they won't seeing as how many fans hated it.

I wonder why a lot of hardcore fans didn't like the costume they previewed, and they call themselves hardcore fans... bunch of dumbasses this is pretty bad ass Im actually glad it still did stick to the comic-ness unlike Batman DK I didnt like the armor much cause it wasn't bat-theme type...
Ryan Reynolds should never have agreed to the deadpool roll and let Jason Statham do it and not do the X deadpool stupid gimmick they did in WOLVERINE..

@Zyclops, before this thread was hijacked by two children, you said it should be "darkest night" instead of "blackest night." I disagree. Although darkest may be more politically correct, and more of an antonym than blackest, blackest fits the oath better for alliterative reasons. The oath reads like a poem, so read it out loud twice, once with darkest, and once with blackest, and see which one sounds better.

I see your point, but I think you under sell the GL. He is the fourth biggest name in DC's industry. He currently has hosted the latest DC event: Blackest Night. I think 1/20 movie goers have at least heard of GL, if they aren't a fan. Thats good enough odds.

i completely agree with you @ejk1. Most common movie goers aren't going to know the symbol of the green lantern, or at least who is he and who the villains are etc. That's the main reason i didn't really appreciate these posters. It doesn't spell anything out for the common moviegoer who may not know what this movie is.
