Tyler Perry's latest drama For Colored Girls debuted atop the DVD sales charts, for the week ending February 13.

Another new release, Life as We Know It, finished second place on the DVD charts, just ahead of Paranormal Activity 2 in third place. Last week's top DVD seller, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 took fourth place in DVD sales. You Again, another new release, rounded out the top 5.

Red topped the rental charts for a third week in a row, with Paranormal Activity 2 in second place, You Again in third place and For Colored Girls finishing in fourth place in DVD rentals. All of the new releases were put out by studios who do not have a delayed rental window with Netflix or Redbox.

Paranormal Activity 2 took the Blu-ray sales crown, with Red dropping to second place, Life as We Know It in third and For Colored Girls in fourth place. 27% of all Paranormal Activity 2 units sold were in the 1080p format.

For Colored Girls was released November 5th, 2010 and stars Kimberly Elise, Janet Jackson, Loretta Devine, Thandie Newton, Anika Noni Rose, Kerry Washington, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad. The film is directed by Tyler Perry.
