Dreamworks Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Clint Eastwood directed movie Flags of Our Fathers at Military.com.

The film is written by Crash screenwriter Paul Haggis and stars Ryan Phillippe, Jesse Bradford, Adam Beach, Paul Walker, Jamie Bell, Barry Pepper, John Benjamin Hickey.

The film is based on James Bradley's book "Flags of Our Fathers: Heroes of Iwo Jima".

The Battle of Iwo Jima, which took place in winter 1945, was a turning point in the Pacific theater. About 6,000 Americans died and 17,000 were wounded during the Battle of Iwo Jima.

The battle produced one of the most enduring images of WWII: a photograph of U.S. servicemen raising an U.S. flag on the flank of Mount Suribachi, the island's commanding high point.

Flags of Our Fathers was released October 20th, 2006 and stars Ryan Phillippe, Jesse Bradford, Adam Beach, John Benjamin Hickey, John Slattery, Barry Pepper, Jamie Bell, Paul Walker. The film is directed by Clint Eastwood.
