Prometheus comes to theaters June 8th, 2012 and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

Photo "PROM-001" calls it the "Ampule Room". An ampule is typically a sealed glass vial containing a specimen of some type... I wonder if ampules refers to all those cylinders in front of the monolithic head. It definitely reminds me of the Egg Chamber from the original movie.
The giant humanoid head is likely linked to the giant "Space Jockey" skeleton from the original Alien movie. Looking forward to finding out more information on that race and how they fit into the whole Alien storyline.
