True Fallen; I should try to be less predictable... ;)
But, yes, you caught me, the poster looks amazing and has heightened my already sky-high anticipation. Definitely my number #1 film for 2009 (based on director, cast, and source material).
To the desk of mrwhite:
The Lovely Bones has the potential for Oscar gold and is a forefront pick in numerous categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. The scope of its prominence and Award-worthiness will be determined in full once reviews hit the circuit. Until then, it's only speculation.
Surefire nominations include a whole set of Technical/Artsy Awards (Art Direction, Editing, Cinematography, and of course, Visual Effects).
In the Acting Category, Stanley Tucci is the only definite nom to write in ink on the ballot. Saoirse Ronan shows promise in the lead, enough possibly, to add another nomination to her resume.
Capturing a sling of nominations come January is inevitable, the win however, will be determined by the critical acclaim and general acceptance of the film. Like I said before, the film's success rides on the reviews.
As much as I would like to see The Lovely Bones snag a bunch of statues and go all the WAY!, I cast it in lot with films like Benjamin Button and Atonement; numerous nominations, few wins.
But, of course, only time will tell. And December can't come quick enough!

The Narrator: The Better Man
Probably the only must see left this year besides Where The Wild Things Are and Avatar... this looks to be heart wrenching emotionally. Can't wait.
P.S. Zany should like this. :)
