The Last House On The Left feels incedibly dated when i watch it. Granted the story is great and all but just the acting isn't very convincing especially those bumbling cop characters. I think this is one of the few films that didn't reach it's audience the first time and hopefully this time it will.

LOL! JUST ANOTHER TERRIBLE SILLY REMAKE!

Wes Craven made his mark on the horror scene with The Last House on the Left, and he's recently grown more adept at merely producing remakes of his own work, such as 2006's take on The Hills Have Eyes --...JUST A SAD SHELL OF HIS FORMER SELF! Wes Craven ...Sad u are now a hack!

If this movie is anywhere near as good as The Hills Have Eyes 2006 remake, then I am extremely excited. However if it is more along the lines of the God awful Hills Have Eyes II 2007 remake then I'll pass.

lol did i call it or what oh CelluloidDreams you are as predictable as the asian remakes you despise so much. Open your mind brotha not all remakes turn out bad while i agree that there are sooo very many of them it gets annoying Last House deserves a remake as it's certainly one of Cravens best films and it gets the least amount of exposure. Other than film nerds on the internet i don't know anybody who knew the original existed. I loved the original and i loved The Hills Have Eye's (both original and remake) lets hope we get another good Craven remake

    YAWN.........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ANOTHER BORING REMAKE...

I GUESS WRITE AND DIRECTOR: Wes Crave NEEDED TO PAY HIS RENT TO SELL OUT LIKE THIS!!!

Wes Craven described his involvement with the remake: "I'm far enough removed from these films that the remakes are a little like having grandchildren. The story, about the painful side effects of revenge, is an evergreen. The headlines are full of people and nations taking revenge and getting caught up in endless cycles of violence." WES CRAVEN IS A LOSER!!

Wes Craven's flicks usually turn out good when they're remade for example The Hills Have Eyes. Granted it's sequel sucked but the original sequel sucked too lol. This looks amazing for a remake of the original it's a classic that needs a remake seeing as IMO it's Cravens best work and also his most unappreciated/unknown. By the way guys how long do you think until Celluloid Dreams drops by with another one of his patented Anti-Remake rants lol

Actually looks really good. Horror films should stick to more realistic stories, instead of the supernatural sh*t (even though those films can sometimes be entertaining).
