According to Reforma and El Norte, two Mexican newspapers, the filming took place at the Coyoacan Campus of UNITEC, where they will film for seven days. They will then move to the sets in Durango, Mexico.
Dragon Ball Z centers on an adult humanoid alien named Goku who, after discovering he was sent to Earth to destroy the population, tries to fulfill the wish of his dying grandfather and collect all seven of the world's mystical Dragon Balls to keep them out of the hands of the evil aliens. His chief nemesis for the film will be Piccolo, who is trying to conquer the Earth. The film is based on the manga created by Akira Toriyama, and is considered one of the most successful Japanese cultural exports of all time.
Dragon Ball Z is produced by Stephen Chow, and stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura and Joon Park. Dragon Ball Z flies into theatres on August 15, 2008.

im so sorry for all those who think this movie is goin to b good, in my mind DBZ is special and i have a very good image of wat Goku, Picollo and everyone is is suposed 2 b and this just isnt workin, and another thing wats goin to happend when Goku turns into a supersaint????? he hair, the style these are all esecials to the cartoons, thats like makin a bugsbunny movie and havin him b a pink bunny

LOL i could care less if you go out there wearing a f*ckin blue suit and hold their hair up ya little sh*t, so long as its the same as the cartoon, you cant change something that important to the franchise.. and its your own fault you take the feedback negatively and go home and cut yourself at night, not my problem, but if you bleed on chatwins hair, then its my problem..
