Based on the Kim Jee-Woon's 2003 Korean horror film of the same name, the story revolves around two sisters who return home to their father after spending time in a mental institution. Their recovery is hindered by their cruel stepmother's (Banks) obsessiveness and an interfering ghost.
Tale of Two Sisters is in theaters in 2008.
A Tale of Two Sisters was released December 17th, 2004 and stars Kap-su Kim, Jung-ah Yum, Su-jeong Lim, Geun-Young Moon, Seung-bi Lee. The film is directed by Jee-woon Kim.

whaaaaaaat??? another remake of a great korean film?? american can't make another horror movie without doing a remake??daaaamn there goes another grudge/ring bad remake movie!! why do they make a remake?? why can't they keep the original instead?? i say more ORIGINAL asian movie in the theaters!!!! all kind and genre of asian movie so we can see the other cultures and myths of asia..although i like the 2 actress, i don't think that it's gonna be as good as the original!! big up to those who watch original asian ghost movies!! ^_______^

Could be real good, but is it really gonna be a horror or thriller. Everyone needs to get those two genres correct.
