Here's another simple question: Is "X-Men Origins: Gambit" getting made? Ragin' Cajun deserves a film, cherie.

All he needs is the trenchcoat, and can't wait to see his skillz with the bo-staff. Not to mention his card-throwing technique. He actually looks like a real-life Gambit.

Damn it, why couldn't it of been Josh Holloway. I'm willing to give this kid a shot though. But still you can't say Holloway wouldn't of been perfect for the part.

Lol err. Your right. He does look kinda douche. lol.

No probs
I agree with you on that.
Spider-Man 3 & X-Men 3 (lol both threebies), they were good ideas and the pitches were brilliant, but they were just directed and written badly.

Thanks Chronic.
Either way, I hope the Origins are better than the trilogy altogether. People keep ripping Spider-Man 3 apart, but you can't tell me that The last Stand was decent. I mean, you can if you want, but I won't agree.

Err
this guy looks like a douchebag, but im sure he'll seem less douchy in the movie.

This is for Diaigma, there is a Gambit Spin-off in pre-production.
Gambit was actually meant to be in both X2 & Last Stand but was cut due to him being such a big character and having a small role, so i doubt his role in this film will be small, since that is one of the things the studio was concerned about in the first place.

SS4VEGETA
Techniacally they can never screw the storylines up for marvel movie's, because if you stop and really think about it the marvel universe is always based on alternate futures and it tends to change a lot.Example(Wolverine maries Storm, but so does Black Panther. Nick fury was white now hes Black, etc).

Actually, I remember some comic where the man spat an explosive/energy charged chewing gum in another dude's face, knocking him meters away...wicked. Taylor Kitsch as Remy LeBeau's a nice casting choice.

Now, when they were doing the 3 X-men films, I kept wondering... "Where the @#%& is Gambit!" I can only guess that he's going to die in this, since the character was never part of the other films. Too bad. Nothing punches it quite like an exploding playing card, or pencil, or whatever the crap he touches :P

COMIC GEEK78
To "angry young man" Gambit did have a role in the Weapon X Project. Gambit was part of a group called the Exiles, complicated to explain but he is not just a random character. I know this cuz I'm a COMIC GEEK...lol They'll screw up the storylines like they always do but I still can't wait to see it.

Vamp
Gambit was always my second favorite mutant, beaten only by Storm, so this is awesome. I can't wait, actually. It's going to be good, and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool? That's nearly perfect!!!!!

Also Gambit was actually meant to be in X2 & Last Stand but he was cut, it actually says so in the film's commentry, but he was removed they didn't want a big character having such a small role apparently.
Gambit was originally meant to be played by the guy that played 'Angel' in Last Stand

I know Cajun comes from a French ancestry, but that would be like my parent's saying they have German accents instead of New York accents because they had ancestors come over on a boat from Germany. It's a totally different sound is all I'm saying. I wasn't trying to be a dick, I was just using a little sarcasm. Anyway, The eye color thing is a mystery to me. In the comics, Gambit has black coloring the part of the eye that is normally white, and his irises are red. In the comics they are always this color, so I hope at least they change this color (when he uses his power) in the movie.

I can't remember if his eyes go red i'm sure they have a hint of red.
Also in the scene is Deadpool and Wolverine. Deadpool angers Gambit. In which he kicks the table and controls the cards and Deadpool cuts them with his sword, saying 'is that all you got?'
Gambit gets more tempered and reaches for his staff and blocks Deadpool's sword, and also Wolverine brings out his claws probably to stop them.
But there is also pictures of Gambit & Deadpool (not in costume btw) looking like their ready to face off in a battle, and it looks like this background or a ring.
Also if people think Gambit is just a cameo within this film, there is news lurking around Hollywood and studios that David S. Goyer is attempting to write a Gambit spin-off set to star Kitsch. And he has also been attempting to write a Deadpool film for ages.
