Scream 4 picks up 10 years later, and Courteney Cox Arquette's character, Gale Weathers, is now married to Dewey (Courteney Cox Arquette's real-life husband, David Arquette). ''I kind of gave up my job as the entertainment journalist,'' says Courteney Cox Arquette. ''I'm bored with my life and my marriage.'' Bringing a little excitement to town is Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). Her return leads to more Ghostface murders, which reenergize Gale. Says Courteney Cox Arquette, ''Things start happening, and I couldn't be more thrilled.'
Scream 4 was released April 15th, 2011 and stars Lucy Hale, Roger Jackson, Shenae Grimes, Dane Farwell, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Aimee Teegarden, Brittany Robertson. The film is directed by Wes Craven.
