First Look at the Legend of the Guardians Trailer!

Yahoo! Movies has debuted the first trailer for Zack Snyder's upcoming film Legend of the Guardians, which will be released in 2D and 3D theaters nationwide on September 24. Click on the video player below to take a look at this new adventure, based off the children's books by Kathryn Lasky.

Zack Snyder's Legend of the Guardians stars Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jay Laga'aia, Miriam Margolyes, Helen Mirren, Sam Neill, Richard Roxburgh, Geoffrey Rush, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham and will be released in theaters everywhere on September 24.

Legend of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole was released September 24th, 2010 and stars Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Essie Davis, Adrienne DeFaria, Joel Edgerton, Deborra-Lee Furness, Sacha Horler, Bill Hunter. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

    I'd wait for Toy Story 3 my friend. Pixar holds the title three years running, I doubt they'll stop now especially going back to their greatest concept ever with some their most iconic characters.

    Zack Snyder hits certain scenes in all of his movies that are flat out visually stunning... I love this dude's style and am immediately interested in anything he is attached to. -and lets all stop hating on Watchmen...

    Lol Comrade. I understand that. I thought it was a tad bit overused in Watchmen myself (it already had enough eye candy without slow-mo rape scenes etc.). He's found pretty good balance however in both Dawn of the Dead and 300 (as you said, it helped). Overall, he is a bit carried away with it, but most people don't seem to mind.

    Fact: Snyder does way too much f*cking slow-motion. It gets awkward, especially when executed haphazardly and without need like in Watchmen. 300 was insipid source material anyway, and all Snyder did was make that easier to stomach, so no complaints on that one.

    Having grown up reading this series, I hope Zack Snyder does justice to the film and will perhaps continue filming the rest of the books. Classic Zack Snyder slow-motion as usual. The books actually had a strong sense of spirituality about them, in terms of the philosophies and traditions of the owls, and any serious that the trailer stars off with is denigrated by the happy tone which would make this film more child-friendly, and thus, more like Happy Feet. This is a very different story.

    The music does not match the material at all! I don't think this will do as well in the box office as Happy Feet and won't be as fan-loved as Happy Feet is, but I'm still interested to see this, but only for a rental.
