First Look at The Fourth Kind Trailer!

In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is The Fourth Kind. This encounter has been the most difficult to document...until now. Structured unlike any film before it, The Fourth Kind is a provocative thriller set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where, mysteriously since the 1960s, a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler (Milla Jovovich) began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. Using never-before-seen archival footage that is integrated into the film, The Fourth Kind exposes the terrified revelations of multiple witnesses. Their accounts of being visited by alien figures all share disturbingly identical details, the validity of which is investigated throughout the film. This movie, Encounter of the Fourth Kind. My goodness. This movie will be unbelievable, because simply it has the true and utter potential to be thee worst film ever created on the face of the planet and maybe galaxy.

Wow, ok, I love Milla so much, but I wasn't even looking at her beauty, because I was so freaked out by that. I just hope that BS PG-13 rating doesn't screw up yet another good idea for a movie.

It's the Blair Alien Project. has the same feel, backstory ideas, etc. what made blair witch so successful was no one knew if it really happened or not... if the footage was real or not. that will be this movie, complete with "actual" footage. and if the director does the job right, the only people who will be walking through the visitor information center in Nome, Alaska will be people wanting to investigate the claims of this movie (just like BWP did for that tiny city in Maryland). No one else will be planning any visits to that city any time soon.
All that said - i'm intrigued and want to see more.:-)

I never saw .45, but I'll take your word for it. Either way you get my point and Newkill's, she does a lot of action. It's not very often we get to see her do something different.

creepy looking. the most obscure alien encounter for how lucrative the claims are, though they seem to be supported nicely. there's gotta be some article about the real thing online.

  25. Delgren

Looks awesome. It was freaky, alien abduction movies have always been kinda cheesy for me, but this one takes the cake, maybe the reality factor that gives it more of a thrill. I agree Newkill, it's about time Milla did something serious. Aside from the Joan of Arc movie she's been all action and it's sad cause she has serious potential.

  26. CBF

Wow....okay I wasn't really interested in this until he said the voice was speaking Sumerian. Now that is freaky as they are the supposed first recorded civilization...they invented writing, etc. Through history we have had certain civilizations and periods where the people are smarter and wiser than the time should have allowed. Sumerians, Babylonians, Mayans, and Ancient Egyptians. There's more, anyways I'm not trying to preach here, lol, I'm just saying. Annunaki, anyone?

We are definitely not alone, as history shows us.

Looks like it may turn out to be a decent film. I do not know if it will be as terrifying as it is made out to be, but hopefully it will have a few scares.

  28. Solar XI

Wow. This looks very frightening. Previews usually don't make me feel the sensation I'm feeling right now. The use of actual footage adds to the thrill. I will definitely see this.

God I hate you Newkill. You will sit there and say something like this (which looks f*cking incredible and horrifying) is crap but Legion is going to be awesome? Wow you truly do have a TERRIBLE taste in movies. This is going to be very freaky.
