i think with the budget and everything they are doing a phenomenal job, this show just keeps getting better and better and off course its not gonna follow the myth right down to the last detail its called improve and i haven't seen one bad example yet. so seriously if your gonna slander the show make sure you have something to back it up with, these characters are amazing and the stories they come up with cannot be beat, Lois and Clark was a good show but this one is so much greater

im with remy - lois and clark def wasnt better (and get the spelling right drewski). a bad soap opera? absurd. that is such a ridiculous statement let alone a comparison. smallville is creating the mytho - of course it isnt going to follow it dead on - they have to compromise and they are doing it perfectly.

The Superman mythos has been so thoroughly screwed up in Smallville that nothing even remotely relates to true Superman followers. It's starting to resemble a bad soap opera. Get with it CW or cancel it!

I have never watched Smallville once, so I don't really care how Tom Welling dress as Superman. And most of the shows I watch are on CBS. None of the shows on the CW intrest me at all. The new shows coming on this season don't either. Most of the shows on the CW are too teenage or the early year college student type soap opera(like those housewives try to make time to watch).

Don't like this "suit". I've not watched Smallville the past two seasons and I'm glad after seeing this. Come on, Clark's had that red cape for at least 3 seasons now, he never thought to add that to his costume? Not a frigin matrix trench coat! It's always a yo-yo effect on this show with Clark. He struggles with being a hero or not, than does this stupid sh*t like leaving an "S" as his mark everywhere and going all dark. Then realizes "Durh, I should just help people to help them, not to prove anything." Yet, he won't change and some girl will come in and screw his whole attitude up...back to square one.

I agree...
Superman is NOT Neo from "The Matrix", and that shirt does look like something you'd buy at Target. LAME! Would someone please take this piece of crap off the air! They just continue to RAPE the Superman mythos.

"Michael Rosenbaum is back??"
It's the series cast list, not the season.

If you guys have been watching the promos, all of the sequences with Clark in the costume smack of "alternate reality" and "dream sequence", and even if they aren't, it's part of the process of him finding balance between his humanity and his Kryptonian "destiny". If you haven't come to expect dragged-out story lines with a lot of unnecessary sh*t filling in the space between the beginning and end of the season, you haven't been watching Smallville. They take about 18 episodes to make the same progress as could be accomplished in five hours.
Nobody questions Ottley because he's not a racist.

This "suit" is a disappointment...the Matrix trenchcoat is not only anachronistic, it just doesn't look right for Superman...the Superman logo on his shirt looks like...another "S" t-shirt you'd see at Target for $10. I use to watch this show...now, I have no idead or give a shyt about it...waiting on the Warner Bros. Superman movie reboot.

Seriously - where is this show going? I admit I had to give up about three seasons ago, but because I really liked the show early on and love the big blue boy scout, I keep checking in on it's status. I don't mind the re-imagining of the myth but the show was supposed to be about Clark growing up and becoming Superman. So who is Clark Kent now? A Batman wannabe? The birth of Superman arc is way past due on "Smallville", shouldn't he be fighting for truth, justice and the American way by now?

So that is the Superman suit on Smallville? Wow, I knew this show was a re-imagining of the myhtos and comics, but c'mon! Sorry but Superman was never Neo from The Matrix.

Has nothing to do with Smalleville, but I thought that I would post it to the most recent story so people can check it out. Ottley does that sometimes, and nobody questions him.

In case anyone wants to know, Here's the news about the next Rambo movie. I don't care for the Sci-Fi aspect of it. Sounds too fantastical for me.
"Rambo 5 sounds like it'll be more of a direct sequel to "First Blood" (1982) than any of the over-the-top sequels were. According to Aint it Cool News, the film will see the muscly Vet return to the misty greens of America's Northwest - the same terrain portly Brian Dennehy hunted him down in in the original film.
The tentative title (it'll change - the last "Rambo" went through about five different titles before Sly, and Lionsgate, decided on a keeper) for the new film is "Rambo V : The Savage Hunt". In it, "....there is a U.S. Military installation that is doing experiments on elite soldiers as part of some sort of program where they're attempting to tap into that SAVAGERY that we have deeply embedded into us. The plan is create brilliantly instinctual killer soldiers that have no qualms about taking life. Sly brought up the ancient Immortals, which were cartoonishly glimpsed in 300. In reality, they were children trained from the time they were infants to kill", says the site. "Well as happens with Government Experiments to create the perfect killer - it goes exceptionally well... and then exceptionally badly. And Rambo is brought in with a Black Ops squad ("Like in PREDATOR") to hunt, capture or kill this worse than Rambo killer."
The film, which Stallone's convinced (or intending to be) will be the last "Rambo" film, is in the early stages of development says the site.

Yeah clockworkcookie, that's what I said. And with the "S" being sort of scribbled on, it looks like the style of The Punisher's skull.
