First Look at Pacino and de Niro Righteous Kill!

Empire Online has just published a set of exclusive photos from the upcoming Jon Avnet thriller Righteous Kill. The drama teams Al Pacino and Robert De Niro for the first time since their legendary pairing in 1995's Heat.

The film revolves around two Veteran New York City Detectives as they hunt down a vigilante who may be one of their own comrades. Righteous Kill will rip apart theater screens in 2009.

Righteous Kill was released September 12th, 2008 and stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, 50 Cent, Carla Gugino, John Leguizamo, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Dennehy, Trilby Glover. The film is directed by Jon Avnet.

    Heat was done by the magnificent Michael Mann, this is Jon Avnet; producer turned director. His last movie was Red Corner in 1996.

    While the two are amazing actors, I have my doubts behind the camera since it's by the writer who wrote the amazing show, Blind Justice.

    Hopefully I'm wrong and this turns out to be two great veteran actors with a great story.
