While we've seen him in X-Men, everyone has been dying to see the first shot of Hugh Jackman dressed as Wolverine from the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Cinematical has gotten their hands on the first image of the Australian actor in his costume for the new film.


The image shows a very young-looking Jackman in the black leather outfit familiar to fans of the first three X-Men movies, complete with trademark sideburns.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine explores Wolverine's early days, before joining the X-Men. The film will cover Logan's early life, and his involvement with the mysterious Weapon X program. The film stars Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine and Liev Shrieber. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is due to arrive in theatres in 2009.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was released May 1st, 2009 and stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Will i Am, Lynn Collins, Kevin Durand, Dominic Monaghan, Taylor Kitsch. The film is directed by Gavin Hood.
