Freddy was made to be a serious, evil bastard. He was later made into a cartoon character with catch phrases and silly behavior. The series was destroyed because of this. I'm looking forward to seeing the real Freddy again.

Ok... first of I would like to take a moment to explain: There can never be another Freddy like Robert. He is and will always be Freddy. Second, Jackie could probably bring the "scary" back in the world of Elm Street, but that's not what Freddy is about, and it haven't been for a long time.
The "Nightmare"-films is all about Freddys awesomeness and the way Robert brings him to life!

Wow that sucks, lol the trailer never got shown at Comic-Con for some reason...
Brad Fuller has apparently updated his blog and stated that there won't be a comic-con trailer and there won't be one online for a while, until then, that's apparently when the real hype will begin.
I'm guessing were gonna get a trailer either attached to Halloween 2 or sometime in Halloween to be attached to Saw 6

the thing is that a lot of people have read the SCRIPT, thats gonna be this films downfall.

horror film coming out in 2010, what could possibly go wrong? God damn, can't they just let these films gather dust and go for a halfway original idea? Please? Friday the thirteen was only watchable for till the title came up, after that, pure and total sh*tfest. In the 70s an 80's there was a certain style to fliming a horror movie such as this that made it great. These days theres so much high definition and ridiculous fast cam angles that I just get ill after a while. Christ, this piece is going to either get way too much appreciation that it's earned, or it could bottom out and be forgotten, but realistically, all the wrong ppl are going to make big bucks for this sh*t.
