The Butterfly Effect was his best film. I think he can play that range again, he just hasn't done it since. He could play a solid Jobs if he accesses that range again. I'm wondering who will play Gates during the hiring of Microsoft to develop the Mac OS, which Gates then stole for Windows.

First off if your going to bash somebody for not being good at something at least try to do it intelligently. For instance if you're going to talk sh*t about another person at least learn how to spell and how to use diction correctly. You just make yourself look like a moron. The only character that Kutcher played that i really liked was Kelso on that 70's show, and a hippie in bobby. we've never seen what he can really do, if anything different. I think he will pull it off, but not great and not not terrible, just "meh".

@rarebloodtype:
I am not a fan of Kutcher but I think he has some talent. But why do you think the world thinks like you? You do realize that you sound really immature and if you actually think "the world" would have the same oppinion you do then sorry my friend but then you are being really naive...

The whole movie is an advertisement for Apple. It simply makes the most sense.
If you're smart you won't give Apple your money.

Dim Dimes
They should stop making movies based off people who aren't that great. Fuk Steve Jobs.

If Kutcher would just open his eyes a little more, then yes, he looks like steve jobs back in the 40s. lol

Is this going to be based off Jobs' book?

You know what's weird is that HOLLYWOOD has been trying to get the public to like this guy as a geat actor, and as a person who is so HANDSOME IN THEIR EYES RIGHT, WELL GUESS WHAT hollywood, "Who gives a CRAP about htis guy". He sucks as an actor, he's stupid looking, and he isn't sh*t, and will NEVER be sh*t, PERIOD. What don't you UNDERSTAND hollywood. We don't give a sh*t about how many people that likes this guy and that are HOPING he will shock the world with a performance. Sorry KUTCHER fans, but the world has made up their minds by saying the words of the GREAT Tony Montana, "F*ck Him!!!" Okay F*ck this guy, he can stick his head up a toliet, okay." He is a C*ckaroach, nothing more."

add some longer/curvy fake eyebrows to match job's and hes got it set.
I too agree he will shock the world with his performance. Might not win an oscar but the movie will bomb at the boxoffice.

This role will be the great turning point in his career. Watch. I'm calling it now. Can he get an Oscar-nomination? If he ever wants one...he's gonna prove it with this performance.

Agreed, @playhouse. Noah's performance for Pirates of Silicone Valley was epic. I hope Kutcher is up for this role; it'll easily be his most challenging.

I think he'll do okay, but Noah Wyle completely owns the role. Outside, y'know, the late Jobs himself.

Never like Ashton Kutcher at all. And have to say that this might be one of the worst casting choices in history.
@dylan-mccann He wasn't even that serious in The Butterfly Effect. I couldn't take him seriously at all.
