First Look at a Bloody Benecio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins in The Wolf Man

Benicio Del Toro is torn to shreds on the set of Universal's The Wolf Man remake along with a bundled Anthony Hopkins, currently under the direction of Joe Johnston. These are the first images to come from the UK-based set, thanks to Bauer Griffin Online. Check out the images below.

Benecio Del Toro in The Wolf Man
Like the 1941 original that starred Lon Chaney Jr., the new film will be set in Victorian England. Del Toro will play a man who returns from America to his ancestral homeland, gets bitten by a werewolf and begins a hairy moonlight existence.

The Wolf Man will hit theaters February 13, 2009.

The Wolfman was released February 12th, 2010 and stars Simon Merrells, Gemma Whelan, Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Mario Marin-Borquez, Asa Butterfield, Cristina Contes, Anthony Hopkins. The film is directed by Joe Johnston.
