@ TheREALavatar - I thought of the same thing. But the twist will probably be that when the elevator door opens up they'll find themselves still on earth, since supposedly hell is on earth. MNS will probably cameo as the elevator mechanic.

I'll check this out when it's on cable. I like some of his movies. Movie tickets cost too much nowadays to go to just any movie.

~Funny how alot of you dont take a work of a person how it is. if it doesnt appeal to you then good for you. Doesnt mean its bad for everyone. good thing about personal choice and likes + dislikes. I love lady in water. But i guess hey most of "us" here love seeing films at face value........ yea........prix

Night is only good at doing horror films (The 6th Sense) and thrillers (The Happening)
not drama, romance or even comedy or action

Night is so fond of plot twists that he's now a devil-twisted moron

WTF you hate Shyamalan and you still actively comment on him
    Well it does look interesting

no M. Night won't make himself Satan, he will be God of course, I mean he's already played the messiah in Lady in the Water, God is the next logical leap.

I got it! The twist will be the elevator is longer in our world, but in Hell, and no matter what the characters do, their screwed. M. Night will cameo as Satan.

Agreed, with you and Err. I find the name calling completely inappropriate. Just saying "Shyamalamadingdong" has racist implications behind it. If people must name-call (or remain immature) I suggest "Shyamalame." It's an appropriate description for now :P

as with all M's films, it looks interesting, interesting premise, then it blows and pisses the world off. He only gets work because he knows how to hook people in with a mind f*ck of a trailer that has a plot twist that gets the audience riled up. Curiosity is one of mankinds most predictable forces. This will make bank and end up at the IMDB Bottom 100

Cool @Diaigma. I respect that ,especially since you're the hugest TLA fan I know.

But whats with the name calling guys? Shyamalamadingdong? I mean, it's not even funny. Just annoying.

Anyways, @Err said exactly what I meant (without it being drawn out), so yea. Refer to his comment for my opinion.

I'm still very much P.O.ed with MNS, but like I said, if he can pull off a 90% film on RT, I'll more than likely take a look. But for now, I'm reserving my theaters dollars for other movies. And since MNS isn't directing this, I may check it out if it's 60% or higher. He's still writing and producing the thing, which means he can have the last call over what the directors do. Other than that, this looks like a cool thriller. I'm very much on the fence with this one.

  22. Err

i would just like to point out to anyone who hasn't noticed that M did not direct this, and is only one of the writers, so you should probably pretend his name is not listed and just enjoy the trailer on it's own merits.
if you still think it sucks, cool beans, at least you'll know it's your honest opinion and not some leftover opinion from some other movie of his that you hated.

You know the past movies from M. Night have been pretty disappointing and the trailers for those movies (except Last Airbender) have all been so so. This trailer was cool and intense, maybe we are going to see original M. Night like when he did signs and The Sixth Sense. I really hope so, I like M. Night.

A part of me thinks that trailer was amazing and another part of me thinks it's bad that M. Night is attached to it. I might see it but I'll wait for the reviews. Hopefully this is a comeback for him.

The trailer gives the feeling of a movie with full of cliches. By the way, devil has always been among us, it's not something new. The movie will try to drive the audience to a twist, so let's hope that the twist is worth to wait for.
