First 5 Minutes of Aliens Vs Predator: Requim Online!

Yahoo Movies UK has been provided with the first 5 minutes of Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem. We know how much our readers like the AVP, so here's the link to check out the beginning of the new film for yourself!


In the follow-up to the worldwide hit Alien vs. Predator, an unsuspecting Colorado town is the setting, as the iconic monsters wage their most brutal battle yet!

[Editor's Note: Word is this not the full 1st 5 minutes, as a lot happens (introduction of the human characters, etc.) in-between the chestburster coming out, and the full grown PredAlien killing the Preds on the ship. Also, the music is just a temp track. You can buy the soundtrack on iTunes now, or listen to two of the tracks on composer Brian Tyler's Myspace page. ]

    I have a better Idea..in the sequel contact is made between predator and humans on a truce...the catch is both predator and humans place a wager that who can conquer a plant that has natural resources both races want..but it is occupied by a million or more aliens...whoever gets the job done first is the victor, however, Colonial Marine have orders by Yutani interest to kill as many predators for more technology...which backfires into an intergalatic war where Colonial Marine are faced with an invansion of predators homeworld...

    something like starships troopers scale....terminator 2 when we got a glimse of john connor as a leader against the machines.

    This already looks 1000 times better than the first "AvP". I like that they've gone to the Predators home world as well, hopefully get some off Earth action later on, maybe bring the battle to the Predator's home world in another sequel!

    F*ck Yes!!! This looks so coool!! Can't wait till X-Mas day!! This looks really wild!! Nice tribute to "Aliens" at the begining with the father & son getting attacked by face huggers!
    Actually this looks better than the 1st "AVP"
    Unlike the PG-13 rating of the original, which garnered some criticism, this film is rated R!!
    I also like the "PredAlien"!! Very Cool!!

    I like how the actually acknowledge the fact that Aliens do not show up on infared. It is also stated in the editors note that this sound track is temporary....Hopefully the pace of the actual movie is not quite that fast. Definitely agree that it was cut down a little for the web!

    I think i will pass. in my opinion the first 5 minutes looks has a very b movie feel to it. Alot of fans and critics of the last film felt cheated, so it was decided to make it a direct sequel. I am still hoping they will somehow make a prequel for the characters, or set it away from earth at some point. I will just have to wait until hbo or tbs to see if this film lived up to any of the hype it has had.

    the first AVP was pure garbage to me, maintained no style or feel of either the alien or predator franchises of the past. i to wasnt a big fan of them bringing the two together. I would be really excited if they furthered the Alien franchise by itself and brought back the dark and scary aspects the made the original franchise so good. that said, the five min. preview looks good, guess we'll see if the AVP franchise can live up to its name

    This is not too bad at all! when the main predator's face were shown on screen it somewhat have the fearsome overwhelming presence like in the original movies, but the predator's movement still needs to be work on. And the way they kind of remodel the inside the predator's ship actually fits the predator's culture/style, unlike in the first avp paul anderson made it look like a human construction. The last thing to thumbs up about is that the brother's camera work in general specifically in the pred alien and the shots inside the predator ship, kinda gave me a watching the 80's aliens feel. So overall, nice work!
