The film will revolve around a group of islanders that are forced to content with the living dead. The leaders of this small paradise must decide if they should kill off the zombies, all of which are relatives, or preserve them in hopes of finding a cure. This untitled horror film does not have a set release date at this time.
George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead was released May 28th, 2010 and stars Alan Van Sprang, Kenneth Welsh, Kathleen Munroe, Devon Bostick, Richard Fitzpatrick, Athena Karkanis, Stefano DiMatteo, Joris Jarsky. The film is directed by George A. Romero.

George Romero created one of cinema's scariest horror icons...the zombie. His original trilogy rocked balls, I'm guessing this is his new modern trilogy, Land, Diary, and now Island of the Dead. Obviously its still a money maker other wise these wouldn't continue to be pumped out. I admit, the tone has changed from his earlier trilogy work, but Romero is still the man. I always remain a faithful fan.

i like romero's movies, and even if his quality has been slipping and the diary f the dead was lackluster, at best, im still a fan and will watch this movie when it comes to dvd.

"Dead Paradise"...anyways, really don't care. After seeing snyder's remake of Dawn, I've had it up to here with the slow moving zombies. Romero acts like zombie's are real and he's a "zombist" or some sh*t when he talks about them: "Zombie's don't run." Who says f*ck face? It's election week, a week of change: Romero should take cue instead of releasing re-used zombie pics
