Firefly was the best series that never got the chance it deserved to shine. Definitely among the best that Joss Whedon has created. Glad to see that the show lives on in DVD form.
And if you like the series, make sure to catch the film "Serenity" which acts much like a series finale.
But yeah, I could've easily lived with another three or four seasons of the show.

Err
it is pretty decent, i just got the series dvd yesterday. mind you i have a raging you-know-what for that summer glau chick, but it really is a decent show.
it can be kinda corny and its sort of like a cowboy show in the future, but with adam baldwin as the trademark bad-ass, the surprisingly decent fx and the overall quality of story and acting i cant help but recommend it.
