Nathan Fillion will reunite with his Firefly cast at Comic-Con 2012
The Science Channel, which has been airing reruns of the cult series, is bringing together series creator Joss Whedon and stars Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, and Michael Fairman. The panel will include never-before-seen footage from the short-lived series, plus a number of surprises.
Firefly debuted on Fox in the fall of 2002, and canceled in 2003 after airing just 14 episodes. Despite the short run, the series has a massive cult following of fans, known as Browncoats. The show was also brought to the big screen in 2005 with Serenity, written and directed by Joss Whedon.

@zender He can apologize first, and then let the ass-whuppin' begin. Agreed?

@ejk1 there is one flaw in your comment. If a Fox Exec was seen on stage, everyone in the room would surged forward and try to attack them for ruining a lot of excellent shows.

@incmob@zender That maybe the picture with the highest number of castmates MW could find. Morena Baccarin and Ron Glass are both missing, but that doesn't mean they won't show up at Comic-Con.
@incmob I'd laugh if he did that, and possibly make it my ringtone, if at all possible.
I'd like a new movie to follow up Serenity, but what I'd love is for Fox execs to come out on stage and apologize for butchering the airing of the show. The two hour pilot episode was the final two hours seen on Fox, with two episodes never aired. F*cking ridiculous, Foxies.

Wait the Science Channel is airing firefly? Um, shouldn't it be the SYFY channel that should be airing firefly? Oh wait, they're busy airing wrestling, reality shows and paranormal ghost hunting bullsh*t.

i think the announcement is going to be Joss Whedon saying "AH SNAP! SUCK MY MOTHERF*CKIN BALLS 20th CENTURY FOX... DID YOU SEE HOW MUCH AVENGERS MADE... YEP... THATS RIGHT... 1.5 BILLINGYOUNG... BLING... BLING... SHOULD HAVE KEPT ME BITCHES, SHOULD HAVE KEPT THIS SEXY BEAST OF A MAN... BOOM!
ummm, yes, i really enjoyed making firefly, it was such a nice experience, and i am just glad the fans are still supporting it"

The only reunion I'm interested in is onscreen.

Looks like one of them didn't show. I loved Firefly as much as star trek, I would love it if more films were made. Though they would have to be set 50 years in their future.

i would love for one of the surprises to be a Serenity sequel...or prequel...or a story about Serenity.
