Final Destination 4 Is in 3-D!

David R. Ellis has singed on to develop and direct the next installment in the Final Destination franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this fourth chapter in the popular New Line series will be shot in 3-D.

At this time, plot details are being kept under wraps. The film will stand alone and feature all new teens fighting off new "forms" of death. Eric Bress wrote the screenplay, which will be tweaked by Ellis.

The film does not have a set start date at this time.

Final Destination was released March 16th, 2000 and stars Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith, Kristen Cloke, Daniel Roebuck, Roger Guenveur Smith, Chad Donella, Seann William Scott. The film is directed by James Wong.

    it's kinda lame that when something is going downhill they try tp sp*ce it up by going 3D,, big wow!! it's not cool anymore, this isn't 1991!!! now.....4D!! that would f*cking get me interested!! mainly because i don't know what it is!!!

    they should have someone die in a trah compactor, like a resturant worker is taking the garbage back and they accidently rip the bottom of the bag on a corner without knowing. then soda drips out of the hole and onto a split wire that is pluged into the wall from the trash compactor. they throw the bag in and it doesnt fit right. so they lean there head in the compactor foreword and reach down the compactor adjusting another bag. the split wire then sparks and the compactor begins to smash down. the person screams and squirms to get there head out but there chain necalace is caught on a rusty bolt inside and there head gets smashes.

    Ugh! The only one that was even halfway decent was the 1st one. And that was only because it was different and had Devon Sawa. I cannot believe the Godawful 3rd was even in theaters. Now in 3-D! Oh good lord.
