Filming on Dark Days Begins

Filming has begun in Vancouver, Canada on the 30 Days of Night sequel Dark Days. The vampire films are based on the cult-hit graphic novel series by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith, and will be produced by Stage 6 Films and Ghost House Pictures.

Dark Days will mark Ben Ketai's directorial debut. The film is based on a screenplay written by Niles and Ketai.

Lost's Kiele Sanchez stars along with Diora Baird (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Rhys Coiro (Entourage), Mia Kirshner (The L Word), and Harold Perrineau (Lost).

30 Days of Night: Dark Days was released December 31st, 1969 and stars Diora Baird, Mia Kirshner, Harold Perrineau, Monique Ganderton, Kiele Sanchez, Rhys Coiro, Ben Cotton, Katie Keating. The film is directed by Ben Ketai.

    This is a great series. It should be in theaters. Hopefully they dont mess it up extremely bad like most straight to video films. I wish Mellisa George would have come back for this one. Hopefully they get Hartnett to reprise his role later down the road
