Film Movement has picked up the rights to the Canadian family drama, A Simple Curve.

Written and directed by Aubrey Nealon, the film revolves around twentysomething Caleb (Kris Lemche), who shares a small carpentry shop with his bohemian father Jim (Michael Hogan) in a small British Columbia town but has very different ideas about how to make their business succeed. The Hollywood Reporter adds when Caleb's longtime friend Matthew (Matt Craven) returns to open an upscale fishing lodge, it makes tension between the father and son reach a boiling point.

No release date has been set for A Simple Curve.
