Farrah Fawcett Passes Away at 62
Fawcett, who shot to super-stardom with her role as Jill Munroe in the TV sensation Charlie's Angels, found out she had anal cancer in 2006 and was diagnosed with a malignant rectal polyp a year later. Just last month, she narrated and shot a TV special, Farrah's Story, which she recounted her own tale of her cancer battle.
The actress' fame also received a jolt from a famous poster of her in a red swimsuit, which sold 12 million copies and became the highest-selling poster of all time. Fawcett left Charlie's Angels after just one season to pursue a film career, with Cheryl Ladd replacing her on the show, although she did return for guest-starring spots for the second season.
Fawcett's career highlights include three Emmy nominations, six Golden Globe nominations and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her performance in the 1997 film, The Apostle.

Man this sucks! She was a great person who did nothing wrong and yet M. Jackson who went on trial for molesting children is getting more media attention in his death than hers! Than is wrong in EVERY WAY!! R.I.P Farrah. Hope you can give happiness to everyone in the after life.

it is too bad that it was the same day as MJ's death, i feel the media has really overshadowed her passing, and that she fought a bigger and tougher battle then MJ had ever known. but both were certainly great entertainers, cheers.

no offense newkill, but i care much more bout her death then Mj's. neither did much of any relevance as of late, but at least she didn't molest kids. so in that right i think she was a better person and therefore it is more sad to see her go.
