Family Guy to Reenact Star Wars: A New Hope!

We've seen Stormtroopers on Family Guy before. But this is different. This time, they're doing the whole movie. Yes, according to Variety, it seems that the Force is with the Griffin family.

The Fox series will kick off its fifth season premiere with an hour-long tribute to the Star Wars franchise. Lucasfilm has given their okay to the episode, which will see the Griffin Family acting out all the key scenes from the very first Star Wars film.

Peter Griffin will play the role of Han Solo, while mom Lois will appear as Princess Leia. And evil baby Stewie will be Darth Vader. Brian the family dog will be playing Chewbaca, while son Chris will play the part of Luke. Robots R2-D2 and C-3PO will be handled by Cleveland and Quagmire, respectively, while creepy old guy Herbert will play the Obi- Wan character.

This two-part special is set to air in November.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope was released May 25th, 1977 and stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Cushing, Alec Guinness, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew. The film is directed by George Lucas.
